Reviving Urban Spaces For Post-COVID Society

Urbid is an innovative project reviving many urban places and artifacts - currently neglected - able to welcome the city's residents, once the health crisis period is over. It simultaneously supports the economic recovery, fights social alienation and promotes new ways of living the urban spaces. People who have lost their jobs, permanently or temporarily, can then be given a short-term employment, basic income and their work would offer a fresh start for small and medium-sized businesses (restaurants, shops, outdoor events) after the dead period. Urbid interventions focus on locations out of the radar of the city authorities (overwhelmed with big infrastructural projects) and can work via digital platform and via small teams (1-3 people) respecting COVID-19 social limitations. The AdWisers supports URBID in its internationalization dimension, strategic partnerships development and social innovation impact.
