Standardization, Research, Innovation & quality Education are dynamic forces shaping our present and redefining what is ahead of us. Their role becomes even more central in light of contemporary developments: growing international economic protectionism, decarbonization and the transition to a greener economy, the race for technological supremacy, trade wars, growing social inequalities, geopolitical tensions, polarization of higher education systems,  weaponization of the technical standards-setting...with the related impac on competitiveness, access to markets, supply chains, international cooperation and investments. With the Abu Dhabi University and the Gulf Standardisation Organization we designed and delivered a powerful and impactful symposium mobilizing top level experts and players  (UNIDO, CEN-CENELEC, Green Climate Fund, etc.) for dedicated support at international level for researchers, standardisers, academia, industry and international partners.
