The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is "The" international fund completely dedicated to fund and help countries in boosting their capacities in climate change adaptation and mitigation. The GCF offers tremendous technical and unrivalled funding opportunities to tackle climate change and help the transition to green societies but it carries complex and technically challenging processes and requirements. The AdWisers provides its high-level expertise in cooperation with the CIHEAM Bari to support Bosnia i Herzegovina at every stage of the process through a dedicated team in the framework of the GCF Readiness and Delivery Programme. Our activities focus on country’s ownership and are always co-designed and co-managed with local key stake-holders. Recently we delivered two capacity building workshops targeting representatives of Ministries, institutions, local stakeholders, academia enabling joint identification of interest and priorities related to climate change programming, climate finance, projects’ pipelines and GCF requirements.
